WPA Chair’s Welcome Message

I am pleased to welcome WPA members and guests to our 2026 Annual Dinner at The Londoner.

Our flagship event is an opportunity to come together with peers and colleagues to celebrate the West End’s built environment and reflect on what will be an important year for the area, alongside great food in a fittingly world‑class setting.

I’m delighted that renowned comedian Omid Djalili will be providing this evening’s entertainment. One of the UK’s most recognisable stand‑up performers, Omid is known for his high‑energy, physical comedy, blending sharp cultural satire with self‑deprecation and storytelling to challenge stereotypes around identity and modern life. We very much look forward to him bringing his distinctive perspective to the evening.

The WPA is once again proud to support LandAid as our charity partner. LandAid is leading the charge against youth homelessness, bringing together businesses and individuals across the property industry to deliver life‑changing services. Last year, the charity raised over £1.5 million, supporting 66 charity projects and over 1400 young people. There is, however, more to do, and I would encourage you to give generously this evening. LandAid will also be promoting their upcoming fundraising trek, and I would urge you to consider taking part in support of their vital work.
